grand entrance
The Godchild doesn't know it yet (because s/he has yet to make his/her appearance, and therefore we haven't had an opportunity to discuss...), but this is how I envision him/her arriving at the wedding.
I wonder if they could pull me down the aisle too... looks kinda fun...

Bailee's Bride Defined
"Bailee" is a person who receives personal property from another as a bailment - it's a legal term. And I'm a *gasp* attorney in my other life. Bailey's Irish liquer is my favorite drink. (But since I'm the aforementioned attorney, I fear trademark infringement if I call this blog "Bailey's Bride," even though I plan to incorporate lots of Bailey's into my wedding...) And this is my blog, where I can [try to] forget about being an attorney and focus on being a bride who also happens to own an adorable dog... named Bailee.
I am ...an aspiring photographer...convinced that money is a lousy way of keeping score...previously an artist...a wayward writer...aspirationally undefined by my job...politically frustrated...completely in love...compulsively organized (on the outside)...stronger than I look...awed by my family and friends in ways they'll never know...an aspiring fashionista...hopeful that I'll be half the parent my own were...content with my own imperfections but repeatedly annoyed by others'...blessed by my life.
