Remember these little beauties...? Yeah, well, um... I found 'em... on Ebay... in green. In both my size and one half size up (as several friends have noted Christian Louboutin runs small). BUT, they are still over $700... That's really really silly, right? To pay over $700 to walk around in 4" heels all day... Yes, silly. No good can come of this. Talking myself out of it. Help. Me.

I can not help you talk yourself out of those shoes... b/c they are absolutely gorgeous! But i will say this... you found what you like, i wonder if you can find a "knock-off" that is just similar enough to still melt your heart at the sight of them, but not break your wallet! Those shoes are amazing... i can not lie and tell you they aren't! :)
I'm afraid I can't help you either. They're beautiful, a work of art, it would be like investing in a sculpture, a thing of beauty you could keep forever. Unless you're getting married on grass, in which case it would be a sin to wear them because they would get absolutely filthy. Which is the only think that stopped me raiding my savings and buying a bright pink pair of Louboutins.
DO IT. and definitely get the 1/2 size up. i went up at whole size for my wedding shoes.
You're on your own. All I can say is, lucky you. Think of it as an invesment that will be vintage in 15 years.
I bid $300 and was flatly rejected by the seller. I came home and The Fiancé was aghast that I thought $300 was a good deal. I confess it was hard to justify in light of the current economic downturn. *sigh*
